Pirates Sing Along

I'm just a little post crazy today. Well, it's the first day I have had this blog and I'm suffering from a little bit of rookie anxiousness. The Pirates suffer from the same affliction except most of them aren't rookies so that makes it kind of bad.

Did you know that PNC Park is a magic park? It is. It's so magic that Pittsburgh was promised a contending team when it was built. Apparently Frodo McClatchy lost the ring or ran into Lord Voldemort or something of that nature because this team might not be a contender in AAA baseball. I would like to give them more credit than that, but I just can't and its mostly not the players' fault. In Pittsburgh you do not get what you pay for and the Pirates pay too much for too little.

So now I offer a little parody. The Pirates "motto" this year is We will. I have questioned all along what it was that they thought the Pirates would do. This little ditty answers the question, ironically to the tune of Bryan Adams' "We're Gonna Win".
